Hey I’m Tomek.
Hi there! I was made in Poland back in 1988 and since then, I've been bouncing around the globe like a human pinball. I've lived in places like the Netherlands, Falkland Islands, Thailand, and a bunch more. Right now, I've parked myself in a cozy little village by the North Sea in the Netherlands – think dunes and tulip fields (well, maybe just a few!).
By trade, I'm a marine biologist (yes, I know where Nemo is), and I've also got a diploma as a photo technician tucked somewhere in my backpack. Over the years, I've worn a few hats: research assistant, scientific fisheries observer, and event photographer. But if I'm being honest, photography is my one true love. My camera is pretty much an extra limb at this point.
I’m obsessed with finding the threads that connect all living things and figuring out how us humans fit into this giant, chaotic tapestry we call life. For me, photography is less about perfect settings and more about freezing a feeling, a vibe, or even a tiny bit of magic in time. That’s why, alongside digital photography, I’m still head over heels for my analog cameras – because sometimes you just can't beat the charm of old-school film.
Through my photos, I hope to show you what gets my creative juices flowing and take you along on the stories I’m trying to tell. Whether it's a single frame or a whole photo series, happy or melancholic, pretty or gritty, the goal is always the same: to make you feel something. How you interpret it? Well, that’s entirely up to you.
If you’re looking to team up on a photography project, let’s make it happen! Whether it’s capturing moments with your loved ones, snapping pics of your wedding, getting artsy with your car, or just something totally out there – I’m game. Reach out, and we can chat about ideas, schedules, and how much it’ll cost to make the magic happen.
And hey, if you’re more into hanging art than making it, check out my photo prints. Got something specific in mind? Let me know, and we can cook up something custom just for you.
Oh, and a fun fact: I’ve published two zines called “Salty Frames,” inspired by my sea trips as a fisheries researcher. Volume two is still up for grabs, so holler if you’d like a copy!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. Your support means the world, and who knows? Maybe we’ll create something awesome together. Cheers!
